Forrester’s is a historic tavern where people have been drinking, eating and gathering for over 100 years.
Applejack are the privileged owners of this iconic pub. They have brought life back into the public house by transforming four spaces under one roof into unique experiences for the community.
Keeping true to its legend as a local watering hole and paying respects to the lands that the pub sat on for so many years, we bring you an authentic Australian experience. Meet the team
Holly McMahon
Meet Forrester’s General Manager, Holly McMahon. Holly has been with Applejack Hospitality for over a year now starting as Tap Rooms Events Manager, and then as Tap Rooms General Manager, before heading over to Forrester’s as General Manager.
Whilst she can shake a mean Margie, she also pours the perfect pint and will go out of her way to help you out no matter what. Stop by and say hi!
Rohit Bohora
Meet the Head Chef of Forrester’s, Rohit. A long-time Applejack employee, Rohit was most recently Head Chef at Tap Rooms in The Rocks. Rohit is excited to bring his creative flare and passion for good pub food to the menus at Forrester’s.
Applejack Founders, Ben & Hamish
Applejack Hospitality is a boutique Sydney based hospitality group founded in 2011 by seasoned professionals Hamish Watts and Ben Carroll. The passionate duo are determined to challenge the status quo and lead the industry by delivering unique venues to bring people together, creating epic concepts and magic experiences.
In taking over Forrester’s Hotel, Ben & Hamish’s vision is to deliver a community-centric watering hole with an Applejack twist whilst staying true to its roots as a casual local with something for all.
